Electro-Harmonix Continues To Explore New Pedal Territority

I have always been a fan of Electro-Harmonix pedals and cherish my vintage Deluxe Memory Man.  While many companies focus on reinventing the Tube Screamer, Electro-Harmonix spends their R&R resources developing unique pedals like the Pog II, Micro Synthesizer, and the Hog.  This month they introduced two new pedals, the Superego Synth Engine and the Crying Tone Wah.  The Superego is similar to their Freeze pedal but has an added effects loop and the ability to layer frozen notes.  The Crying Tone Wah is the first wah pedal with no moving parts.  The whole pedal rocks on the floor, which makes me wonder how it can be mounted to a pedal board, but it sounds nice.  Finally a wah that will never have a scratchy pot to replace.
